The innovative process of Triple Density Technology® (TDT) integrates three differently formulated compounds, each a different color, that are injected-molded to provide a high-performance product that is exceptionally comfortable yet rugged. The perimeter of the outsole uses a high-density compound for abrasion resistance. The midsole and interior of the outsole use a compound formulated to achieve a superior grip. A third compound forms the foot and the upper part of the boot. This compound is formulated for flexibility and fit. Additionally, it provides resistance to abrasions and chemicals. An ergonomic FOOT FORM® footbed combines with a replaceable contoured cushion insole for all-day comfort. The wearer will be provided with a lift at the arch and support at the heel. The outsole design greatly increases boot contact with the floor, providing outstanding traction. Deep heel construction follows the contour of the inside leather heel to provide a defined “catch” that is more secure on ladder rungs and stair edges.
